Dear Burleigh Families,
As we navigate the winter weather and busy pickup and drop-off times, we would like to share a friendly reminder to please be mindful of your speed in our parking lot.
We recently had a close call involving a student and a vehicle traveling too fast for school grounds. To ensure the safety of all of our children, staff and families, please:
- SLOW DOWN: Adhere to a cautious speed at all times, especially when turning into parking rows.
- STAY ALERT: Be extra vigilant for students who may unexpectedly step out from between parked cars.
- ACCOUNT FOR WEATHER: Please drive even more slowly when visibility is low or pavement is slippery.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping Burleigh Elementary School a safe environment for everyone.

What a fantastic day for Elmbrook at the WI FIRST Lego League State Competition! All 5 Elmbrook teams finished in the top 11, with 2 of our Burleigh/PPMS teams taking 1st and 2nd place Champions award!! AMAZING!
Team B.U.I.L.D. 44199 took home the 1st Place Champions Award and 2nd Place Robot Performance Award! This is the team's 2nd time winning the state competition. They will be traveling to Houston for the World Championship, and it's their 4th time traveling in the last 4 years! Learn more about the team and their season here! https://sites.google.
Team Alpha Geek took home the 2nd Place Champions Award and placed 5th in Robot Performance! They will also be traveling to Houston for the World Championship for the 3rd year in a row! Learn more about the team and their season here! https://sites.google.
Team Power Voltage put in a strong performance in the judging rooms and placed 14th in Robot performance, earning them a top 11 placement! The team is proud of their season!!

Team Alpha Geek competed at the Oak Creek Sectionals on December 20th and won First Place Champions Award! Their robot TAG 4.0 placed first in the Robot Game!
